Please read these Terms in conjunction with the following additional terms, which apply to your use of this Website:
The website exclusively offers Gold Standard carbon credits to offset average unavoidable carbon emissions. We use an average of 10 tonnes of carbon per year for a UK adult (5 tonnes for children), based on estimates from a variety of sources.
All Gold Standard carbon credits are the best on the market and are generated by projects which as well as having a net positive impact on carbon emissions also must have an added benefit of changing or even saving lives.
This service is only offered to UK residents over the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age and have placed an order, you must notify us immediately - in which case your order will be cancelled and any un-spend charges paid will be returned to you. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
Further details on the Gold Standard carbon credit can be found here.
The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website. The price includes VAT.
The following conditions govern your orders from our Website:
● you may order services on our Website; payment is via direct monthly debit/credit card payment;
● the first payment is taken at the point of your order;
● the subscription service is subject to a 14 day cooling off period, meaning your access to the carbon credits will commence 14 days after your first order to enable you to change your mind; and
●if you would like to change your order, please contact us at email@example.com.
Right for you to cancelYou may cancel or suspend your subscription at any time. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling or suspending your subscription nor will you have to pay any penalty. Upon cancellation, we will issue a pro-rata refund for any unspent credits.
To cancel or suspend your subscription, you must notify us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. To do so, you may complete the model cancellation form at the bottom of this page. We will provide a response within three business days, detailing the amount of your unspent credits and confirming the issuance of any refund you may be entitled to.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel a subscription:
● You were under 18 years of age at the time you signed up; or
● at any time in our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms.
In the case that one or more subscriptions were listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or software error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers, we will contact you for instructions prior to accepting your order. Please be aware that your placement of an order does not constitute the completion of a contract between you and CARE and will not until CARE accepts that order.
If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any goods provided to you.
If we cancel your subscription we will notify you by email and will credit any sum for non-retired carbon credits to your credit or debit card without undue delay, but in any event within 14 days of such cancellation.
You will be allocated the carbon credits covered by your subscription. CARE will ensure they are formally retired from the carbon market. The carbon credits cannot be sold on.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these Terms, all notices from you to us must be in writing and sent to Ashurst LLP, London Fruit and Wool Exchange, 1 Duval Square, London E1 6PW, United Kingdom and/or email@example.com and all notices from us to you will be displayed on our Website from to time.
